Product Description

Pho-Reel™ Camera Strap System with Retractable Locking Cable [Patent Pending]

Hands free mobility to grab, go, and shoot. $80

Pho-Reel™ Camera Strap: The patent pending design provides hands-free mobility and comfort for photographers. No more neck pain from your camera strap. No more fear of the strap sliding from your shoulder. Easy glide and lock into place vinyl coated steel cable reel and custom stainless steel clip provide multiple ways to quickly move your camera into place, from side carry, to eye or tripod for shooting.  Carry your essential accessories like an additional lens and filters with you. Move freely without a whole camera bag that all too often you place aside while shooting and can be stolen. A second shoulder strap can carry another camera and additional accessories.

  •  Asymmetrical padded shoulder strap distributes weight evenly and is constructed with additional padding.
  •  Shoulder pad underside constructed with military-standard nylon mesh to promote wicking, dissipate body heat, and provide additional padding without adding weight.
  • Chest strap prevents shoulder strap from slipping.
  • Two foot (610mm) locking retractable vinyl coated steel cable allows ease of shooting either hand held or from tripod but avoids camera swing in retracted position. (Cable actuates at the push of a button. ALWAYS hold the camera with a little tension when extending or retracting the cable. If the camera is unclipped from the reel, hold the stainless steel boson-style clip while retracting or extending the cable.)
  • A clear poly-olefin shrink-tube is included for covering the stainless steel mounting barrel (upper portion) of the stainless steel clip for those concerned about additional protection.
  • Custom stainless steel snap clip is modular in design to securely snap into camera mounting plate (included in your order specifically for your camera body) or it can clip into the camera strap mounting loops on the body of most cameras.
  • Camera mounting base-plate secures either between the camera or lens ring and tripod quick release plate, or independently screws into the bottom of the camera body. The plate has an ultra-thin rubber coating to make contact with the body of the camera.
  • Shoulder pad loops allow carrying either Photipherals or alternate filter and lens pouches on both sides.
  • Optional linking straps allow joining two units together as a double strap.
  • Your order includes one custom-sized base plate and mounting screw. Additional plate and screw are available for purchase. Please make sure you select your camera body.* You will require a side mounting clip that is wider and longer when using a camera with a battery grip or when mounting from a lens ring.

  1. A new strap that keeps your hands free to shoot!! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Aug 2012

I was out taking some photos with Rick and noticed that he had this strap on his shoulder with the camera clipped to a locking reel. After checking one out with him, I decided to buy one. It made a world of difference in carrying my camera without weight or chaffing around my neck. First, I could carry the camera comfortably on my shoulder without it sliding. Second, I could extend my camera to allow me to shoot with ease and also set the camera on my tripod without disconnecting it from the reel. I have seen a couple of the other camera carrying items, and found this to be comfortable and practical. I highly recommend looking into it. Call Rick for more information.
